Greetings Plant Lovers, Happy November Everyone! Hoping you all enjoyed our first taste of winter….it sneaks up on us every year, thank goodness I had my snow tires on, yahoo! ?
Tuesday November 28th 7 – 9 pm will be our next meeting. We will be meeting here at Dogwood & Brambles, our family farm. Please find map attached. We have a great night planned! As always guests are welcome (guest fee $25) Please note: herb course is the last Tuesday of every month (unless a holiday lands on the date). No herb class in December.
We will open classes with a ceremonial blessing of our teachers and students. The ritual of smudging can be defined as “spiritual house cleaning.”. Thanks to our friend from the Chippewa’s of Georgina, Laurie Hoeg, who will perform the ceremony.
This month’s class:
Overview – With Christmas coming up quickly we encourage all students who make products to bring them to class, we will set up an area to sell or barter with one another. Even bring gift certificates if you have a service to provide. This is a way that we can further support each other and see how we can use our herbal knowledge in varying creative ways.
We are planning a bit of fun! Please bring some Christmas treats to share with tea, which we will provide. We are excited to say that Julie Ditta will be joining us. Julie will be offering 10 minute palm readings throughout the evening. Please let us know if you would like to sign up for one of these spots. Reading Fee: 10.00
On an educational note we will be discussing Adaptogenic herbs which help support our adrenal glands and combat stress, especially useful with the upcoming Christmas holiday. All can take home an adaptogenic herbal blend.
Please RSVP, we want to ensure numbers for supplies
Looking forward to seeing you all soon
I would like to book a palm reading.
