We have received many messages asking what can we do about COVID-19. By now we all know the basics of washing our hands often, staying away from airports and large gatherings. As healers and healthy members of society we take these precautionary measures so we do not pass the COVID-19 virus onto our friends, family (elders/babies) and colleagues.
As an herbalist I like to think prevention. Now is the time to build our immune system with antiviral, adaptogenic, respiratory, and tonic herbs.
Here is a recipe I formulated this morning for all the gals here at the herb farm.
Anti viral Tincture Formula
1 part Echinacea root mix (angustifolia, pallida, purperea)
½ part Reishi mushroom
¼ part Bupleurum
¼ part Astragalus root
¼ part Goldenseal root
½ part Licorice root
¼ part Ashwaghanda root
This is what herbalism is all about my friends ~ sharing knowledge and recipes.

Can I substitute the mushroom and bupleurum for something else?
